Official says Russia’s IT, Internet industry not overregulated
VLADIVOSTOK, Sep 11 (PRIME) -- The IT and Internet industry in Russia is not overregulated, the president’s special representative on the digital and technological development Dmitry Peskov told PRIME on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
“There is no excessive control. Many innovations are on the contrary in a gray zone. We should work with them as the issue arises,” Peskov said.
“How could, for example, artificial intelligence, bots, messengers be regulated?”
The Far Eastern city of Vladivostok is hosting the forum on Tuesday–Thursday.
